10 Steps to a Better You

I’m no doctor, but I’m in love with my new 10 step program. Especially step number eight.

Step One: Stop worrying about your weight… EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Step Two: Be open to placing your heart on the line. It is only then that you will fall helplessly and unconditionally in love.

Step Three: Learn how to take a compliment. At the same time, learn how to effectively give one.

Step Four: Spend your extra money on experiences, rather than materials.

Step Five: Forgive those who you have not. Seriously, have you read my post on holding a grudge?

Step Six: Read more. There is nothing attractive about illiteracy.

Step Seven: Learn to use a microphone and give a speech in public. Confidence is key.

Step Eight: Embrace change. You know, the “today I will have the shiraz instead of the pinot” kind of change.

Step Nine: Hike to the top of a mountain. The view is amazing. (Or just get married on one like my cousin did).

Step Ten: Reflect on your greatest weakness, and embrace it as your greatest strength.
